Bob...

… is an artisan who handcrafts cooking and dining accessories out of tiger maple and cherry tree wood, using only traditional woodcarving tools such as gouges, mallets, and drawknives. He's been doing this for a living for the better part of the past four decades.

I took a series of shots of him working on a bowl (such as the one on the shelf behind him), while chitchatting with him. He had immediately recognized me from last year's craft fair and commented "you are quite a flirt with that camera!" I'm assuming that's a compliment? ;)
