Bluetit

Took myself off to Tollie again hoping to get better pictures of redkites and improve on last Wednesday's picture. A great afternoon with lovely blue skies. But hardly a red kite to be seen and none of the low-level passes that I saw last week. The RSPB man puts out food round about 2:30 but the kites must have managed to find their own food. There was a nesting box on the wall of the RSPB hut and I got quite a few shots of blue tits entering and leaving - squeezing through the hole. I liked this one of a bird which has just left with wings going like mad. He's carrying something away from the nest but I'm not sure what. One or two other shots here on Flickr.
