Sewing In The Sixties.

 This is a cushion my eldest granddaughter made as she, quite rightly, assumed that I would remember these styles and the patterns. A lot of my friends and I used to make our own clothes as it was cheaper in those days. We would look in Vogue magazine and copy the outfits, well, near enough. I used my mother-in -law's old Singer where you would have to turn a handle to stitch. My daughter and grandson visited today and I showed them my new home I would be in this time next week. It got the thumbs  up from them and grandson has booked a sleepover !
