Monkey Boy

Pure blue skies, lovely warm weather and a Monday at home doing jobs around the house and in the garden.

My lovely husband has done an incredible job weeding and tidying our front garden and seemed to enjoy the small town phenomenon of having a chat with almost everyone who passes. So much so he moved a bench we had in the back garden to the front so that from now on we could sit there with a cup of tea and watch the world go by. We had coffee there mid morning after our first stint of gardening and, apart from feeling about 30 years older than we actually are, it was really rather lovely.

I snapped a photo of my lovely husband in situ on the bench and he nearly made it to today's blip, but on the way home from nursery the little one was climbing on the monkey bars and I liked the look of his dark outline against the bright blue sky so I'm going with this instead.
