Time to run away

This squirrel ran away just a second after I took this shot. I waited for it to come back but it never did...

Another long lie in today but I was determined to go to the gym earlyish so there was still some beautiful afternoon light left to take photos after my workout. I left the flat a bit later than I would have liked to but I still had time. I took a couple of photos before getting there just in case. It was good I did because this is what happened:

When I got to the gym, I went to the vending machine to get myself a lock because, forgetful me, I had lost the one I had. I put four pound coins in and nothing came out. It took me ages to find a member of staff to help me and when I finally did, she couldn't either open the machine or give me a refund. I said I needed a lock because I had an expensive camera with me. She told me to buy another one and that they would give me a refund the next day, but I didn't want to waste another four pounds in case it was a malfunctioning machine. In the end, she offered to keep my camera in a safe place while I did my workout. All this made me really late and when I left the gym it was already dark! Grrrr!

Anyway... On the way back home, there was an argument on the bus going on. Something to do with a lady and her child and a disabled person who, from what I understood, couldn't get a seat. The man kept yelling on the bus telling us that we were all uneducated idiots. When the yelling man finally got out of the bus another one followed after him and they had a fight in the street immediately afterwards. What a day!

No more incidents after that, thank god! Did my shopping and my washing and I'm now finally relaxing.
