From Aira Force to Place Fell

At least I think that's the fell in the background. Ullswater is the lake at the bottom of the photo. Before we drove home we went for a wander round the paths at Aira Force, and ended up clambering goodness knows how many steps to get to the top, but this tree made it all worthwhile. It's a beautiful place with so many little birds, I really wished I'd had more time and a longer lens, but maybe next time.

The M6 was kind to us on the way home thank goodness. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
