Steamy Dim Sum

A great meal out last night to celebrate Grace's birthday next week but we were out again today for another early celebration of the Chinese New Year.

My daughter's sister in law, Jess is from Taiwan so we met up with her and husband James (John's brother) and their son Callum.

We left all the ordering to her expertise and everything here is dim sum except the crispy noodles with pork, special fried rice and delicious greens. It was all fabulous and accompanied by lots of Chinese tea. A good job after last night's cocktails!

This is the Watersky Restaurant which is part of the Eastgate Oriental City in Bristol. There is an outdoor market and supermarket for food and kitchen items. It was very busy and by the time we were leaving there was a very long queue waiting for tables.

As we left both Grace and Jess spotted someone they knew in the queue. One of them was Ping who Jess knew and who won last year's Master chef, so that's a pretty good testament to the food here.

One last thing, I was told to take my camera with me to the loo! You can see why .
