A productive day
H spent a few hours bag packing at Morrisons, as part of her gym clubs fund raising efforts. While she was out, F and I went on a quick walk up to Hartshead Pike - a 3 mile walk there and back.
It takes just over 30 mins to walk from our house up to the Pike, but I did struggle a bit today. The lane near the top was quite icy, but we both managed to stay upright.
From the start of the year, each Sunday we do a weigh in - every week I weigh the same!!! The extra exercise I'm doing isn't making a dent - but I really don't want to diet.
I spent some of my Sunday sewing - making another apron. I'm quite pleased with it so it may be tomorrow's blip.
We called in on Dad for an hour. He wasn't happy because he had burnt his roast and so his Sunday lunch wasn't up to it's normal standard - he said.
R has been home this weekend. He's gone to a live recording of '8 out of 10 cats does Countdown'. F & R will be hunkering down with American beer and hotdogs for the Superbowl later.
It's felt like a really long day - but in a good way!
