The River Dee

Awoke after a stormy night to find about 6 inches of snow had fallen in Braemar . Lovely sunny day though and drove to the Invercauld car park and did a walk through the Balmoral estate to the Queens Picnic cabin and Victoria Bridge. No sign of any royals but plenty of other folk around including some folk on skis . Fantastic views of the Cairngorms and some of the peaks around Lochnagar. Never walked here before but will be back as lots of good trails . This is a view of the River Dee from the old Invercauld Bridge .
