Contrasts.....

Our Victorian barley twist chairs! For the kitchen and an upright sit. Not like the armchairs which invite lounging and induce sleep!  Really a set of four, but we only wanted two and a sale is a sale maybe, so the good lady obliged. 

It's been a quiet and pootly day after church this morning. The new ottoman has been suitably filled and much in the old one has been set aside for recycing. Good feeling. 

The weekend has gone all too quickly as always, but the days are getting longer and the mornings lighter....soon be the summer!!
