Well, where did January go?!!

One of the earliest signs that Spring is almost upon us, are the catkins that have appeared on the alder and hazel trees. They glow like little lime beacons against the bare branches don't you think?!

I spotted these a couple of days ago, so popped out to the duck pond around the corner to grab a quick blip!

We have had daughter and her partner round for Sunday lunch today. It all went down rather well, no leftovers, and the homemade bread and butter pudding went down a treat too!
It's hubs absolute favourite....but he has competition now, as it turns out to be Anthony's favourite too!
