Blizzard

The snow started early and by afternoon it was building up. My car only made it as far as Wanlockhead as the plough had made the hills into ice rinks. Luckily a kind gent gave me a lift into Leadhills. So at 5 the girls and I set off in a blizzard to see if the road had been gritted to rescue the car before the snow blocked it. No photo of the journey as we could not see a thing. Got the car and just made it over the hills on the gritted road before the snow was too thick. Couldn't get it up Mum's road as it was very deep so left it at the pub and took this as we struggled homeward.
