International Ice Cream for Breakfast Party

A rather unusual - indeed unique - start to  the first Sunday in February, eating ice cream (with all the works) for breakfast with friends.  

This really is a thing and Anna used it a)  as an excuse to introduce her English friends to the weird custom she had come across in the USA and b) to raise money for the charity Room to Read.  Oh and there happens to be a significant family birthday happening in a couple of days time too which was another excuse.

The phenomena was started by a mum wanting to entertain her kids on a cold February morning, it became a tradition which they then shared with their college friends, and the whole thing just grew and grew!

What fun!  Beats standing on the sideline of a football match, which is our normal Sunday activity....
