View From the Arial Hill

It was beautiful but bitterly cold and icy.  The single track Glengorm road doesn't get gritted so is quite treacherous.  On the way back M was driving very slowly in 2nd gear.  Coming round a corner we met a car that had slid down the hill backwards onto the verge.  M reversed back up to a passing space and then we went down to help them.  Luckily we keep a shovel in the back and there are some piles of grit on the road sides.  Took a bit of manoeuvring but they got to somewhere they could turn round and headed back to Tobermory.  Seem to have spent the rest of the afternoon photographing birds - has become a bit of an obsession but cant blip them every day.
