1st February is the day Visit Scotland (aka Scottish Tourist Board) starts its annual Snowdrop Festival http://www.visitscotland.com/see-do/events/scottish-snowdrop-festival The nearest venue to us is at Gargunnock House, some seven or so miles to the west. http://gargunnockhouse.co.uk

This lovely house has beautiful grounds and, as well as the snowdrops, has a burn, a doocot, a walled garden, amazing cedar and enormous pine trees. This little sundial was sitting in a bit of the garden near the house.

I'm hoping to do lots of snowdrop gardens in the next six weeks
