Hot from the press

Just published. This is the 14th. In the series of Guides and Atlases to the wildlife of the Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

I am proud to say they have all been produced by Mrs. K. Over the last two years. She is Chair of a non profit making Community Interest Company which has published the Guides. They have been set up at home on the iMac and printed by a local company. Mrs.K. Has written all the botanical ones and local experts have provided the text and photos for those on butterflies, day flying moths, dragonflies, rocks and soils, small mammals and now Fungi. They have sold very well and more than covered the costs of production.

Incidentally the Company has also raised funds to put solar panels on the roofs of local schools.
