Rosy Dawn

After several days of gloom and mild temperatures today the clouds lifted and drifted away. We had the full blast of the scorching sunshine, coupled with a warm nor’wester. The mountains put in an appearance at last. They were dark grey, and fuzzy with the heat. At dawn there was the usual morning fog, but the rising sun brought colour.
