Sleepy dogs

What a fun day! I got to spend the day at the dog show and had my first Blipmeet!! Lovemy3dogs and TheHusband came to see the dogs today and we had such a fun time meeting their dog, Matilda's, breeder and watching the Sheepdogs show in their category. I petted too many doggies to count and was melting with love before the day was done.
On the drive home we were lucky enough to be the second in line when the street opened wide to let two enormous barges being pushed by equally enormous tugboats through on the Chicago river. I jumped out of the van to take photos and had a great time taking people's photos on their phones as they ran up to capture the bridge open. So fun.

This photo is of one of the ambassador dogs who worked at the rescue today. She was a very good girl, letting little kids pet her all day long. Here she is catching a well deserved nap.
