Cole and Evie

As a new mom, I have come to highly value the benefits of spending time with other new moms. My friend Rebecca has a little girl who was born just four days after Cole. I love the idea of our babies growing up together. Getting together with other moms gives us the chance to bounce ideas off each other, get advice about all things baby, and comfort each other when we're having a rough time. Our babies bring us together and open up the door for a more intimate relationship to form. Babies help us tap into parts of ourselves that are maybe hardened or desensitized due to life's struggles. One of the many ways they make our lives more joyful.
