staring at each other

before taking off -  in a flurry of flight - across the yard - into the trees -  hissing and spitting at one - another for what - who knows

and, okay - let me be the 1st to admit - this is a crap shot - let me say that again - this is a crap shot - probably the worst i've ever posted - however on my behalf - i couldn't not post it - for the simple reason - that it's got 2 blues in it - and i've never, ever - captured 2 at one time - before in the same picture - so quite frankly - although i hesitated - i decided it's really all about my day - what it represents - and this is it - the fact on a cloudy crappy weather day - i shot a crappy picture, too - but one which makes me grin - 'cuz of what it holds - i figure it's still something to be - proud of in - spite of it all - the little things - so on this last day - of january that's what's making for...
