Walk in the park

Despite the cold (-17c and feels like -27c with wind chill), Kevin and I donned our parkas and winter boots and went for a walk in Parc du Mont-Royal. Although it provided no warmth, the sun shone in the bright blue sky above and the snow crunched beneath our feet as we strolled along the groomed paths in the 200 hectare park in the heart of Montreal. We stopped frequently, both to admire the spectacular views of the city and to watch the squirrels and birds that were gathered at the many feeders. It was a beautiful day, but we were glad to return to the warmth of the car.
