Venice - heading for the airport

After some adventures including an out-of-date passport, delays due to snow, a dash across Frankfurt airport to make a connection, and a credit card that refused to work, both us and all our luggage landed at Venice airport and then had a long bus ride with Go Alpin to finally reach the village of Arabba.
It was dark when we got here but the moon was up so we could see that the view from our room was rather good. We see the centre of the village and then the mountains around the village, which is about 2000m above sea level.
The hotel seems very luxurious and the food is both plentiful and good.
Tomorrow the ski slopes!
