Beach

I walked along the coast from Spencer Park to the Waimakariri estuary, taking the inland path, which is now well marked, on the inside of the dunes with occasional views of Brooklands lagoon.  Then back along the beach.  There were lots of white fronted terns and oyster catchers on the sand by the estuary, and a few fishermen on the other side of the river.  A dull day, but unusually calm, so a very pleasant walk.
