Blencathra
... from the flank of Bleaberry Fell.
After a morning sorting out insurance, I lost the will to live somewhere between questions asking if my woodworm wore pyjamas and my car wears a tutu at night and is it parked 4 inches or 2 inches from the kerb, so my brain was mush and I unimaginatively did exactly the same walk as I did on Tuesday. It was lovely to see the contrast from no snow, to a winter wonderland within a few days. As I sat beneath Falcon Crag I watched the peregrine shoot like a scimitar exocet across the sky and ... 'thwack' straight into a buzzard seeing off him and his mate, no messing, regardless of respective size and number.
