Three Crows
The three crows didn’t seem to be worried about getting cold feet but my fingers were almost numb while taking this photo looking out to the lighthouse on Fidra.
We walked nearly 8 km through fields from Dirleton then along the beach from Yellowcraigs to North Berwick looking for a sheltered place out of the bitterly cold wind to have a picnic. There were many little waders including dunlin, sanderling and ringed plover which ran to and fro while dodging the crashing waves. It was a good bracing walk but a relief to be just in time to catch the warm bus.
