Inchcolm Abbey

Hubby's birthday today, so I booked us a little trip on the Maid of Forth to see this lovely old abbey on Inchcolm Island in the middle of the River Forth.

The haar was in first thing, but cleared on our way out on the boat. It was lovely to see the sun, but I have to say, it was still freezing. For the first time since skiing my fingers went numb! Took the whole time on the island to defrost...brrrr! Warmer inland I think. Off out tonight for a lovely meal to celebrate with the birthday boy.
