Peony
In lore, it is said that shy but mischievous nymphs conceal themselves within the petals of the peony which is how it got the name of Bashfulness or Shame in the Victorian-era Language of Flowers. Perhaps the ants, hurrying to hide in the petals when noticed, are the nymphs in disguise.
