Lone Snowdrop
I awoke this morning to a light covering of snow, which was rapidly melting, so headed out into the garden again with the camera.
Every year I seem to buy some snowdrops in the green with the hope of getting them to establish under the hedges, along with the ones I inherited with the house - but the following year only one or two seem to bother to flower. This year seems to be no exception!
Still, I did find this opening bud with waterdrops from the melting snow, so took the time create a couple of focus stacks which allows the stem to stand out from the background.
