Freezing

This chilly scene is the Mary Peters Athletics Track, named after the Belfast athlete who won gold in the Pentathlon at the Munich Olympics in 1972.

A few hardy souls were out running on the track this morning, but they were reduced to using only the inner lane round the curve and they were fighting what can generously be described as a 'bracing' wind. But I guess that's how you end up at the Olympics, by training on a freezing Saturday morning rather than staying in bed.
