We have had a french themed week at school this week, learning a little language, about Monet, making Eiffel Towers, and painting flags. This morning we welcomed the children with french cafe style music and had menus with French breakfasts of bread, croissants, pain au chocolates and hot chocolate. Preparing the food before school I cut my finger on a double bladed knife, whoops. But we had a good time and the children absorbed lots. Later we had a mum who is French, come in to read a story in French, they were captivated.
