A Little More

During the darkest, shortest days of the winter I end up looking for any sign of the weather changing for the better and this afternoon I got one. The morning light brought beautiful streaked patterning to the drifting rainclouds as they broke away on a high wind to reveal a clear blue sky. From that point on the sky stayed blue until long after 4pm and even at 5 there was a great deal of light around. The first time I have noticed the longer days and it was cheering.
