Tonight Miles classroom had a gingerbread making party. First teacher Anne read a story where each kid got to pick out a character of the book to act out. Most of the kids picked the baby gingerbread man, the kitty or the dog from the story. miles, not to blend in, picked to be the goat (the only kid in the class to pick the goat...probably influenced by grandpa greg's farm). 
Then we got to make gingerbread houses, the old fashioned way like i used to with milk cartons and graham crackers. Most of the frosting and toppings ended up in his mouth but we did save enough to make this perfect gingerbread house...and Miles was very proud!
Side story: tonight I heard a jet fly over our house and I told Miles what i heard and he told me, "jets save people from bad guys!"
