Squiggles

Contorted Hazel.
It somehow seems a little unkind to deliberately contort plants.
The very word suggests suffering.
Every winter I cut off the new straight growths from the base of the trunk to favour the contorted.
Still, it is quite eye catching at this time of year and has grown to a fair size in spite of the disadvantages.
I hope it will forgive me!
