Long Tailed Tit

I've got a bird feeder right outside the window of my office, and this morning it was covered in just about every garden bird known to man. So when I stopped for lunch, I got a camera and set it up ready to photograph whatever arrived.

Nothing happened.

I don;t think I've seen it that empty for weeks. Every single bird in the neighbourhood suddenly turned camera-shy and went into hiding. For a couple of hours.

Then eventually a blue tit and this long-tailed tit finally arrived, but it was clear that they were just waiting to get the message from the others as once they left they never came back.

I'll try again next week.
