Great Mell Fell.

Still quite a lot of snow around.  After taking the recycling to the village recycling point I thought I would nip out and take a shot of Blencathra in the snow.

You might have spotted Blencathra isn't on this shot.  The reason is snow.  The place I  wanted to park I didn't dare as I thought I would never get out again due to the depth of snow.  So I thought of other roads which would give me a suitable view.  They all had so much snow on them that I decided discretion was the better part of valour.

So I settled for this shot looking at about 90 degrees to where I had intended to look.  Still quite a pleasing shot I feel.
