Snow showers in the West

The weather today was mostly sunny so I decided to take a walk up Dunardry while the snow was still around to get some shots. The woods looked fantastic in the snow but when I got to the top of the hill I looked out towards Mull and saw this. A little piece of a rainbow and a very large snow storm coming towards me. I braved it out at the top of the hill hiding behind the trig point. The light was changing constantly and I took loads of shots from behind the trig.

It was freezing! At one point I could see nothing but falling snow, fifteen minutes later it was all over. What a fab way to spend a morning.
