Itchy Cheek

Well that's the snow gone for now but hope we get more over the weekend.  It's another cold day but the sun was shining this morning when I left for work.  In Lerwick there has been mixed weather of rain and sunny spells and the wind is meant to pick up to gale 6 later. 

A fine day at work and still some visitors left from Up Helly Aa.  I have been working on the desk today in the museum and meant to be in the office this afternoon.  Due to staff illness, I've been on the desk all day. 
A quiet night ahead with the telly and sofa, and maybe squeeze some walkies with Sammy too.

I was out at lunchtime and passed some poor ponies.  They were looking fairly fed up with the weather, although they are built for it but still can't be nice being out in wet and cold all day.  This pony enjoyed a scratch on the nose but the fence was more appealing to itch his cheeks.  Taken on Ladies Drive, out of Lerwick.
