Severn view

Next Friday, 6 February at 11 am we are having a little Blipmeet on the middle floor in Clementine's on High Street in Bewdley, Worcestershire - see the Blipmeet page for more details and email me if you can come!

This was Bewdley today with the River Severn very fast flowing and very beautiful.  It was cold there today but we avoided any of the showers and visited Clementine's for lunch.  

The walk along the side of the Severn here is fascinating as you can see where the top of the wall was originally and where it is now since the flooding.  We were also interested to see the placements for the flood barriers too.  There are also lots of pavement markers giving details of what products would have been shipped up and down the river from Bewdley in its heyday.
