It's Freaking Friday!!!

Yep that's right...We made it!! And to celebrate, I have microwavable Paella and a can of Root Beer. Now of you haven't tried root beer, it's been described by my loving family as 'drinking mouthwash!'.

However, everytime I take a sip it takes me 7 hours across the Atlantic to Canada. Sitting on the dock at the cottage in Maskoka on Turtle Lake, waiting for a Loon to pop it's head up from the water before dipping down again and reappearing somewhere different. It's amazing how strong our senses are, and how the smallest thing can transport you back in time.
