wonderland

we woke to a snowy wonderland, I think everywhere looks so good in the snow.

Jumped out of bed with the intention of catching the sunrise on the way to work but the snow and ice on my car was so hard it took ages to clean and melt. I watched the sky turn all colours as I muttered to myself.

However the lane looked magnificent as the sun lifted above the hill behind me. I was happy enough without a red sky and went to work with cold hands and a smile on my face.
