I saw a mouse - where?

At 3.30am this morning, Hubby and I were woken by the sound of the carpet being scratched. We thought Baggins must have somehow got out of his night-time lair, but when I got up and checked, his door was still firmly shut and all was quiet. We put the light off, but the scratching started again and was coming from inside the room. We knew then that Baggins must have brought us a present in through the window sometime and let it go, which would explain his recent odd behaviour (he's been skulking in corners over the past day or two). We picked up everything from the floor and from under the bed and pulled furniture away from the wall, then brought Baggins upstairs to help us flush out the imposter. Several chatotic and very funny minutes later, Hubby managed to catch this little fella by his tail. So much for Baggins the hunter.

To Hubby: I am sorry that I was too busy taking a photo that I did not heed your warning that the mouse was about to bite you. I hope your finger recovers soon...
