Bend in the river

This is the river Glen, a bona fide river unlike most of the other waterways around here prosaically known as drains.  I spent all morning cleaning the house from top to bottom in readiness for Mrs TT's return.  I won't be able to do it this weekend so I hope no more dust will settle in the meantime.  I then went into work to make a lost part for a longcase clock.  The part could only have fallen into the case but the owner swears he hasn't got it.  It was a very difficult job that I have never attempted before so I was pleased when eventually, at the end of the afternoon, I got the clock striking correctly again.  I took the scenic route home to catch the last of the sun.
