The light house

When we got up this morning and saw all the snow it was an easy decision to get a wriggle on and get out there before the sun melted it all!

Togged up, walking shoes on, off we marched, very slushy underfoot on the pavements, but once we got into the woods, it was better, with that nice crunching compacting sound that you only get with fresh snow :-)

The sky was constantly changing from bright sunshine, blue sky, to dark ominous looking clouds rolling in.....so, as you can imagine over the course of a two hour walk, and snow to boot, there was a lot to photograph :-)

After some deliberations, I've decided on this image to share we you, as I love the light on the house on the hillside, against the darkening skies.
