Taking chances

I snapped this photo on my way to work this morning.  These fellows are on a partially frozen Susquehanna River - the river is frozen about half way across.  I'm not sure it's smart to be out there, but they seem to know what they're doing.

It was dreary and windy today, snow started falling in the evening.  1 to 3 inches is forecast, on top of the 6 or 7 we already have on the ground.  It's getting tiring, I must admit.
