Kaimanawa Horses - Day 2
This will be rather a short blip as struggling to keep my eyes open after a 4am start this morning.
We met at the Army base at Waiouru and spent 6 hours driving 120kms over the range with the most amazing scenery.
But the real purpose was to find and photograph the bands of wild Kaimanawa horses that roam in small packs on this huge area of land.
What an absolute thrill to see the small bands, looking so healthy running through the tussock. Hundreds of photos but very quickly picked this one out to Blip....and now I am off to bed!
Have just backblipped yesterday.
