Cobbles and the Snow
Not much snow in Edinburgh, but enough ice to persuade me to get the bus in to work. Of course it melts in the morning. The rest of the country is at a standstill. They are sledging in West Linton, digging out cars in Broughton, and its even worse in the west and north of Scotland. Edinburgh misses out again.
On my lunchtime walk I amble up to Dean Cemetery. Outside one of the gates, the melting snow has revealed the cobbles providing a natural black and white image.
