Redcastle Estate gate, from the road along the edge of the Beauly Firth.
Lots of heavy rain showers today. Largely cleared up this evening, so out for a longish cycle. Some huge (thunder like) clouds about, especially over Inverness area. Wee explore of the Artafallie to Coulmore area, West of the A9 for the first time. Judging by the harsh calls as they flew off, there was a pair of Jays eating cherries from a tree along the road in that area. First I've seen (...or recorded) about here, and the first I've encountered in over thirty years.
