Really?

I'm not really rocking this look. I'm getting a bit hacked off with "Facial Hive Thursday". I wouldn't even go out today. It actually hurt too, the inside of my lip was stretched so tight.

In fact, I was so upset by it, I even rang my GP. Got a lovely one who couldn't really offer much advice I don't already have. However he was appalled that my last thyroid test was September 2013.

Given that:
1- Chronic idiopathic urticaria can be linked to an underactive thyroid,
2 - the immunologist was very insistent that my levels be checked regularly (more than annually),
3 - when I've asked in the past for an appointment knowing its due, I've been told to wait until I get the reminder as that's how the system works,
The news that it is almost 18months since my last check was not good.

Fortunately it has almost returned to normal size now (9pm) although the skin feels all saggy on the inside!
