Portrait Project Week 4

Backblip:

Rachel, my partner.

We actually did this last night, but I wanted to spend a decent amount of time in post, rather than rushing to blip. I fret about photographing Rachel, she's so critical of herself, that it can be disheartening showing her a portrait. She doesn't really see the image, she sees what she imagines in the mirror.

What I see and love about her, seems impossible to convey to her. In that sense, most portraits I make of her, are a failure, because all photography is about showing the world how you see it.
