Snow at Last
At last we woke up to a covering of snow in the City. Not that it was more than a few centimetres thick, but it traced the windward sides of the trees and roofs artistically, beautifying the city in a virginal whiteness.
It wasn't long before the sun rose and a thaw began with the steady drip drip of melt water running unchecked off buildings and the green of grass appearing again in the Meadows. Already the world has lost some of it's white appeal.
This blip is taken from on high, looking over the tenements of Marchmont towards the snow covered Pentland Hills.
